A competition to recruit Employment Judges is due to open in March 2025. Unlike previous competitions, this one does not require previous judicial experience. If you have not considered applying to be a judge, then now is the time. Birmingham Employment Tribunal are putting on an informal session to help those who do not know what a career as an Employment Judge entails and would like to know more, see below:
Workplace Justice in the West Midlands : life as an Employment Judge
Have you ever considered a salaried or part-time career as a Judge?
Are you curious about what the work of an Employment Judge is really like and how such Judges are recruited?
This informal session will answer these questions and give you the chance to ask many more of your own in open forum or informally in discussion with serving
Employment Judges. If you are an employment law specialist in private practice, at the Bar, in education or working in the third sector, this session is for you. Be curious.
